Biz Idea: Bulk Buy Sharing Service - How It Works
This idea is pretty old, 2013, so it was surprising that it wasn't exactly implemented.
I had already introduced the concept of sharing advertising resources when I ran the webpreneur blog with the DIY tools via JavaScript. Users pooled their money together to buy advertising and they shared a common link that showed each pool member's site per new visitor to the link.
I had turned the source over to someone in Canada to complete because of legal problems interfering with my ability to get things to fruition.

Instead of advertising this concept uses bulk grocery buying. Users go to the website to find an open pool that has the items they want to purchase. They can search for open pools by items, in general, or some other filter or if they set up default items, they can hit the "Default Matches" button to see a list of open pools for the default bulk items they've configured in their account.
It could be a beef-based pool where the items are beef items which could contain Beef ribs, beef steaks, etc. A paper pool could contain toilet paper, napkins, paper towels. The website structures the pools in a consistent manner based on product demand from users. you can also use the popular items in that city or zip code.
Members pay upfront and all items are the chosen store's brand items. You could have WalMart, Kroger, Costco as merchants and that pools will use their branded items to fulfil the pool items to split amongst the members.
PayPal is the idea merchant to fulfil the code to make the magic work.
Good luck.
